Portland, Oregon

My hometown is the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen. The location is great- we’re close to a lot of main attractions. I’m currently only 20 minutes from the gorge and numerous hiking trails. I went to college at Portland State University and it was ALWAYS busy in downtown. I enjoy knowing that I am only 70 miles away from the coast. It’s rarely ever crowded-unless you go in the summer time. We have the best food carts!! I think that’s where you can get a good snapshot of the Portland culture. Gotta love our hole in the wall restaurants and carts!

A lot of people have migrated to Portland over the years and I can’t blame them. Something about Portland is enticing- it’s a comfortable city!! Whether that is a good or bad thing, my heart will always remain an Oregonian- regardless of where I may end up.

Keep Portland Weird!
